I teach and play live, and actually only bought the Grade 6 book because one of my students was studying it - and I realised I couldn't just 'sight read' it straight off! It has some extended techniques like finger tapping, and pinched harmonics - which I'd never used before, but were fun to learn and execute - although I found them quite tricky...A good selection of 'real' songs, including some from my youth like 'Crossroads' - which were coherently portrayed in tab and dots. I feel that young (and old!) people's guitar playing has been vastly improved by quality teaching products like the Rockschool series. Looking forward to Grade 7...
