Broken Strings - Along with the addition of an extra empty bar at the start of the piece, the way in which the different vocal parts are referenced in this tune has been updated to remove ambiguity. Because this song was originally a duet with a female singer, candidates will need to sing the female line occasionally. The parts that should not be sung have now been clearly marked "unassessed" and had their noteheads reduced in size to cue-note size. An updated version of the score has been made available in the audio download to allow those with Revision 1 and earlier of the book to access this update. At Levels 1 and 2 (Grades 1–5) microphone use is optional, although candidates may use one if they feel it will enhance their performance. At Level 3 (Grades 6–8) microphone use is obligatory for all aspects of the exam. (Updated 20 October 2017)

If you are going to do your Rockschool Vocal exams you need a book. This one is for Level 4 and there is a good range of songs. There is no CD included you download the backing tracks using the supplied code-card (Works well). The backing tracks are of good quality and similar to the originals (minus vocals of course).
